Inline comments

Inline comments allow you leave annotations directly on the student’s paper. Click anywhere on a paper to reveal the in-context marking tool which gives you the options to add inline Text comments, a speech bubble and strike through options. You can move the inline comments on the paper to the most appropriate position.

T Icon

Select the “T” icon and then begin typing your comment. The text will be added directly on the page and comments will automatically be saved.

Click “T” to add an inline text comment. The image above shows an example of an inline text comment on a script.

Strikethrough Icon

By selecting a piece of text, you have the option to strike through the text, instead of adding an inline comment. Click the S icon to strike through.

Highlight the text that you wish to strike through and click the S icon.

Speech Bubble Icon

Similarly, you can add comments using the speech bubble icon – which is presented in a pop-up box. Comments are automatically saved and represented with a speech bubble icon on the paper. Clicking bubble icon reveals the feedback.

Click the speech bubble icon to add and reveal comment. There are some basic options to format your text and add URL links.

Deleting Comments

Hover over the comments and a Trash Can Icon appears allowing you to delete the comments made.
