If your peer review exercise is a graded activity, you can easily sync the grades from peerScholar to Learn Ultra to manage the release and record of grades.
This guide outlines the steps required to sync grades from peerScholar to the Learn Ultra Gradebook.
Set Learn Ultra Gradebook entry
- In Learn Ultra, select More options (three dots icon) next to the title of the peerScholar activity.
- In the right hand pane, select the Create gradebook entry for this item option and update the relevant fields i.e. Due date, Mark using, Maximum points and Mark category.
- In this pane, you also have the option to mark the activity as a formative assessment, add a description etc.
- Select Save.
- The peerScholar activity will now be listed in the Learn Ultra Gradebook page.
peerScholar Gradebook
- Once the activity is graded in peerScholar and you are ready to sync the grades across, navigate to the Gradebook page (from left menu) in peerScholar.
- You can sync the grades by selecting Sync Grades at the top right of the page which syncs the grades for all activities or select Sync at the end of the column of the said activity.
Back in Learn Ultra Gradebook
- Marks should be synced across to Learn Ultra Gradebook.
- Grade are only visible in grid view. If you are in list view, select the Grid view icon to change the display.
- Tip: Use the Search gradebook field to search and view a specific gradebook entry.
