How to add a SCORM package to a Blackboard Course

  1. Choose an area to add the SCORM package and select the + icon and choose Create
  2. Select SCORM package from the list of options
  3. Choose Upload SCORM package
  4. Choose the SCORM package you want to upload. This should be a zip file
  5. Add a due date and time if needed, otherwise clear these fields
  6. You can set the number of attempts to unlimited if needed
  7. Ensure the ‘Mark SCORM‘ option is ticked if you want this to appear in the Gradebook. Typically, you do not need to set ‘Mark individual SCOs’ this isn’t a widely supported feature in SCORM packages.
  8. By default the SCORM package will be marked using Points out of 100. If you simply want to see a tick to see whose passed the course, set this option to Complete/Incomplete.
  9. By default the SCORM package will be set to Hidden from students, set this to Visible to students using the release conditions directly below the item title when you’re ready to release it.
