If you want offline records of student results for certain types of markable items, you can download and reupload the results as an Excel (XLS) file or a comma-separated values (CSV) file.
Download results
- In the Blackboard Gradebook page, select the Download Gradebook icon at the top right corner.
- In the Download Marks pane, ensure Full Gradebook is selected.
- If you wish to include hidden items, toggle Include Hidden Items.
- Select the assessment(s) you wish to download under Record details. Toggle Include feedback for selected item to ensure feedback details are included in the download.
- Select the File type and Save location. Press Download.
- The result file contains the following information:
- Last name
- First name
- Username
- Student ID
- Last Access
- Availability
- [Assessment title] & Grade
- Marking notes
- Feedback to learner
Upload results
If you wish to do offline marking, you can download the Gradebook for the assessment item – using the steps above, add the grades, feedback in the spreadsheet and re-upload it to Learn Ultra Gradebook.
- Enter the grades under the [Assessment title] column, and the feedback under the Feedback to Learner column.
- You can format your feedback text using HTML tags if required.
- Save the file.
- To upload, select the Upload Gradebook icon at the top right corner.
- Drag and drop the file in the designated area or browse to select the file.
- Press Upload. Refresh the Gradebook page to view the changes. The assessment now should have updated grades and feedback.
