Course banners are used to identify your course – they appear at the top of your Blackboard course as well as in the tiled view of all your courses to both staff and students.
If you would like to add a banner to your Blackboard course then this has now become much easier for you.
As well as being able to upload an image of your own, subject to size conditions, you can now search Unsplash. Unsplash is a large repository of royalty free images that is now included as part of Blackboard.
From the left hand menu within your Blackboard course click on the Course Image menu item which opens up a side panel on the right hand of the screen.
Click on Insert Image and you will find two options in the drop down list. (1) Upload from your device and (2) Stock Images from Unsplash
