All educators want to empower students to take control of their own learning journeys. The student autonomy update in our AI-powered automated feedback tool helps to do just that. So how does that work?
Students can now select their own feedback criteria. This puts students in the driver’s seat, allowing them to determine which aspects of their work they want to improve on and what feedback they need to get there. Filters on the sidebar allow students to determine which feedback is shown, and students can save, reuse, and delete their filters, building their own library of feedback options to use across different assignments and documents.
What’s more, the sort feature gives even more control on how feedback is displayed. If, for example, you’re looking for immediate suggestions or a more statistical overview.
By giving students the power to choose criteria for automated feedback, we aim for a more student-centred approach to learning while keeping the guiding role of the teacher in place to provide personalised feedback on higher-order aspects of writing, such as argumentation. The result is better learning outcomes. Let’s give all students the tools to take the wheel and drive their own learning journey with automated feedback. Get in touch with us to enable student autonomy with automated feedback today.
