There may be times when students run into unforeseen difficulties in the submission process. For such situations, Gradescope offers the option for an Instructor to submit an assignment on behalf of a student. Note that if you’re looking for a solution that allows you to submit on behalf of all students, you’re best off setting up the assignment as an Exam.
The submit on behalf of feature does not work on anonymous assignments.
To submit on behalf of a student:
- Open your Blackboard Course and navigate to your Gradescope Assignment.
- Choose the Manage Submissions option from the left sidebar menu.
- Select Upload Submission located at the bottom of the screen.
- Note that you can only do this if anonymous marking has been turned off.
- Select the student you’d like to submit work on behalf of using the dropdown menu or by searching for their name.
- Click select file and add the file you’d like to upload.
- Click Upload.
