PebblePad is a tool designed to support reflective activities. Students can use it for personal reflection, to create blogs, portfolios and simple websites. Staff can design and share workbooks that students can complete and submit as part of an assessment. Whilst you can access PebblePad directly, most people access it from Blackboard.
PebblePad can be a great tool for workbook-based reflection, but for some tasks the benefits are outweighed by the setup-time and extra support. Other tools worth considering are Blackboard’s Blog, Journal and Assessments as well as Microsoft OneNote.
This license is due for renewal shortly and the number of seats allocated may change. Keep an eye out on My Digital Durham for a message from CIS with more details when things are confirmed.
