Pebble Learning along with providing the Pebblepad platform also provide a supporting app called PebblePocket. This is free to download from both the Apple and Google app stores.
To login in the the App – click on the Account and Login – Select Durham University as your institution and choose I have an IT account at Durham and go through the usual Single Sign on procedures to authenticate.
Using the App you can send assets (your content, photographs, audio, video etc) over Wi-Fi to your Asset Store within Pebblepad.
There are templates within the app to jot down reflections on activities, you can take a photograph to evidence something or to support your work. You can also record videos on your phone and using the app send them to your asset store.
Once you have connected it will only send to your asset store when you connect to Wi-Fi – so if you are on a field trip without a phone signal it will wait until you have reached a Wi-Fi signal. Make sure your settings are set to Only send large assets over Wi-Fi
